The launch was utter garbage, downgrading modes and removing custom matches with bots, removal of over a hundred sub class variants for a broken upgrade system (it's a clear downgrade). Garden warfare is definitely better, but just because it’s better doesn’t mean battle for neighbourville is bad. All you need to really do is enter this game with an open mind. However, the game has been a fun experience for me and the new content they add every month keeps the game entertaining. I mean to be fair it’s less interesting than character variants. Look, garden warfare had many more features but just because battle for neighbourville doesn’t have the same features and introduced new ones (the new upgrade system) doesn’t mean that it’s bad. In fact, after playing battle for neighbourville, I started to have more fun with it than I had for garden warfare 2.
Yes the changes are quite strange and some are just poorly made but we all will get used to them. But this isn’t garden warfare 3, it’s battle for neighbourville, it’s a completely different game.
